BIG BOCCA PRODUCTIONS & RAINBOW SPA ANNOUNCE HUNTIK SEASON 2 IN 2010!

 BIG BOCCA Productions & Rainbow SpA are proud to announce the production of 26 new episodes of Huntik: Secrets and Seekers (i.e. a total of 52 X 1/2 hr). This decision follows the successful launch of Huntik Season One in Italy on Rai Due, in the US on CW4Kids and in the UK on Jetix. Huntik: Secrets & Seekers will also debut in 2009 in the rest of the territories giving the brand an extensive international coverage.
New Huntik episodes are set to be delivered by end fall 2010!
The series Huntik: Secrets & Seekers (52 X 1/2hr, is an original action adventure property, created and directed by Iginio Straffi, the author of the Winx Club, and co produced through a partnership between Big Bocca Productions, the leading content creator & animation studio Rainbow SpA, and the media company m4e AG. The Huntik: Secrets & Seekers animated series has been co-produced with Rainbow S.p.A. in Italy.
Magic, mystery, mythology and adventure come together in Huntik: Secrets & Seekers, a fantastic new adventure property for kids aged 6-12.
In Huntik Season 2, Lok and his team of Seekers are back! After defeating the Professor last year, our heroes travel to the last-known whereabouts of Lok's father, Eathon. This mission leaves them with more questions than answers, having discovered Eathon’s Holotome, which contains several riddles let to them by the famous seer Nostradamus.
As they chase down Nostradamus' prophecies, the team finds themselves learning the truth about Sophie's family, discovering a legendary sword, recruiting a promising new Seeker and coming face-to-face with a new, deadly enemy - THE BLOOD SPIRAL.
To face down these challenges, our heroes have upped their skills, learning new Powers and discovering new Titans. Will it be enough to counter the Blood Spirals' ultimate weapon?
In these new episodes of Huntik Season 2, new evil characters, new Casterwill family members and a bunch of 60 new Huntik Titans will also be revealed...

In addition to serving as co-producers for the property, Big Bocca Productions manages all marketing, promotional and licensing initiatives for Huntik: Secrets & Seekers in North America, Latin America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, China, Korea, Israel, Africa, Middle-East and Oceania. Rainbow is managing Huntik property in Europe (excl. GAS), South East Asia (excl. South Korea, China, Japan) and India. M4E is in charge of the German Speaking territories.

Huntik is an Italian animated TV series created by Iginio Straffi of Rainbow S.p.A., as a co-production with Big Bocca Productions (an Irish entertainment production and licensing company owned by Richard McWilliam, CEO and owner of The Upper Deck Company, LLC and Rainbow S.p.A.).
Huntik made its debut at the MIPCOM show in Cannes, and premiered January 3, 2009 in the U.S. on The CW4Kids. Created and directed by legendary Italian animator Iginio Straffi (who also created The Winx Club and Monster Allergies), Huntik was awarded as best cartoon for entertainment and business opportunities at MIPJunior, a leading international exhibition dedicated to children's tv programmes.
