New Huntik Episodes Start June 13th

New Huntik: Secrets and Seekers Episodes to Start Airing June 13!

At the start of 2009, Huntik: Secrets and Seekers made its television debut to critical acclaim, and quickly accumulated a large fan base. This summer the adventures continue as Lok, Dante, Sophie and Zhalia take on The Professor and the evil Organization in brand new episodes beginning June 13 during TheCW4Kids Saturday morning block on The CW television network at 11:30 a.m.

In the original episodes, we followed the Huntik Foundation as they traveled around the world to explore ancient myths and historic locations, looking to stay one step ahead of The Organization while completing missions and collecting powerful Huntik Titans. In the new episodes, the Huntik Foundation travels to ancient Egypt, Vlad Dracul's castle, Lancelot's mausoleum, the lost city of Atlantis, and Queen Sheeba's tomb, and more! And what will happen once the Seekers discover the powerful Legendary Titans?

That's for viewers to find out as they watch the show. Current and future players can already jump into the action with the first Huntik: Secrets and Seekers trading card game (TCG) that's available in stores now!

For a full, interactive experience, viewers should watch for secret passwords during each episode. Huntik Codes can then be entered on Huntik.com to earn Seeker Points, unlock Titans, Huntik games, exclusive behind-the-scenes peeks, and much more. Huntik is an Italian animated TV series created by Iginio Straffi of Rainbow S.p.A., as a co-production with Big Bocca Productions (an Irish entertainment production and licensing company owned by Richard McWilliam, CEO and owner of The Upper Deck Company, LLC and Rainbow S.p.A.).

Huntik made its debut at the MIPCOM show in Cannes, and premiered January 3, 2009 in the U.S. on The CW4Kids. Created and directed by legendary Italian animator Iginio Straffi (who also created The Winx Club and Monster Allergies), Huntik was awarded as best cartoon for entertainment and business opportunities at MIPJunior, a leading international exhibition dedicated to children's tv programmes.

Huntik TV series was broadcast in Italy on Rai 2 and in foreign channels including the The CW4Kids (United States), Disney XD -previously Jetix- (UK & Ireland), MTV3 (Finland), Rede Record (Brazil), Jetix / Disney XD (Netherlands), Childern Channel (Israel), RTL II (Germany), ZAZ (Mexico), Network Ten (Australia), TV Tokyo (Japan), South Africa, Singapore, Greece, Austria, Portugal and the Philippines.

Huntik trading card game, produced by Upper Deck Entertainment, was released in 2009 in Starter decks and booster packs. A line of Huntik action figures has also been released by Upper Deck.
