Huntik.ws Paris Trip

We traveled Paris for you to picture the Gargoyles, the Notre Dame and the Church in Huntik Episode 5 ‘Crawling the Catacombs’.
Here are the photos.. Enjoy !

 A - The Seine River
Huntik Episode 4: Into the River of Secrets

huntik-paris-a01tA typical bridge on the River Seine, as in Episode 4 ‘Into the River of Secrets’.. Remember Peter and the whirlpools ??

 B - The Notre Dame
Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs

This is the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. The Notre Dame has been a base of operations for the Huntik Foundation for decades.

In Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs, Lok and Dante climbed these walls to find 'The Eyes of the Cathedral' using the seeker power 'Hyperstride'.

Also on most pics below you’ll see the gargoyles.

 C - Eglise St. Severin
Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs

In Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs, 'The Eyes of the Cathedral' is a gargoyle which points the place that our heroes should go, and this is a church which has been closed for a while.

As Huntik.ws we climbed to the towers of Notre Dame to get the same view as Lok and Dante, and there are two candidates: One is Eglise Saint Severin (the Saint Severin Church), and the other one is Sainte Chapelle. Both buildings have dozens of gargoyle figures on them.

While the old church in Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs which our heroes brake in does not look exactly similar to any of those two, Eglise St. Severin is the one that looks closer: It looks ruined from outside, and it's placed on a narrow street exactly as in episode 5 of Huntik.

D - Rue Dante (Dante Street)

Almost a neighboring street to both Notre Dame Cathedral and Eglise Saint Severin is 'Rue Dante' (Dante Street), a street full of Comic Book Stores and Toy Stores. Coincidence? Maybe..

 E - Sainte Chapelle
Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs

This is one of the two candidates for the old church in Huntik Episode 5: Crawling the Catacombs, but it's too big, doesn't look ruined from the outside, and it's also not placed on a narrow street as in the episode.

Sainte Chapelle is located on the courtyard of a government building, Palais de Justice (the Justice Palace). While the building isn't the right one, we are publishing the photos for you to see the gargoyles.
