Birthplace:
AKA: Mia Bradly, Mia Bradley, Mai Bradly, Kristy Pape, Kirsty Pape, Karen Strasman
Voicing Huntik Character: Zhalia Moon

karen strassmanKaren Strassman is an American voice actress who is most known for voicing many characters in many anime shows, including Fantine in IGPX. She also speaks fluent French and uses a French accent for French characters. Karen Strassman also goes by the aliases of Kirsty Pape and Mia Bradly. Karen Strassman voices Zhalia Moon in HUNTIK TV show.

She is the second English speaking voice actress to provide the English voice of Helena Douglas in the Dead or Alive video game series starting with Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 (2006) (VG). Strassman is also the first voice actress ever to provide the most accurate English voice acting of Helena Douglas using a French accent because Strassman also speaks fluent French.

Karen Strassman has been privileged to have an extraordinarily rich career as a voice-over artist. She has worked in nearly every aspect of the industry: radio and TV commercials, animation, narration, documentaries,
promos, audio books, celebrity voice-matching and voice replacement, internet media, games, talking toys, CD-ROMs, dubbing, looping, ADR...

Major clients have included: Disney, HBO, Sony, Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Sci-Fi, Showtime, The CW, CBS, Klasky-Csupo, Viacom, Bandai, Pioneer, Vivendi, Disneyland, Lancome, L'Oreal, Clarins, Vidal Sassoon, Acura, Kia, VU Games, Square Enix Co, Ltd, Ubisoft Entertainment, Technicolor, Hallmark, and Mattel.

karen strassmanAs one of the leading v.o. talents in Paris for many years, Karen could be heard as the voice for Air France, Euro-star, Disneyland Paris and audio tours of the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay. She's dubbed Juliette Binoche into English and Meg Ryan into French!

Karen is known for her versatility. She has created hundreds of characters of all shapes, sizes, genders, ages, and species, from classic Disney princesses to talking jellyfish. She did over 30 different characters for the Everquest games, and last year even re-voiced a real parrot (the producers ending up keeping her version, as they thought it was more "realistic" than the original). She also specializes in little girls and boys, both
cartoony and realistic (including, recently, re-voicing a real 5-year-old girl with asthma in the feature One Missed Call).

Not only is she bilingual in French (she is the French woman’s voice on the walkie-talkie on Lost), but being a dialect coach, Karen performs a wide range of accents. A few years ago she did a European campaign for
Lancome with a British accent, actually beating out real Brits for the job. She recently re-voiced an ancient “Nordic Wraith” in a Sci-Fi Channel feature, and a male Mayan dwarf chanting in Yucatec for Apocalypto!

Karen feels very blessed to be doing what she loves. She prides herself on fulfilling clients’ needs, taking direction, and bringing her passion, humor and joie de vivre to everything she does.
