Not all werewolves are evil hungry monsters. The Wolf Knight is a noble Titan that is gentle around children and animals, but fierce in the heat of battle.

Along with his close Titan cousin Fenris, Wolf Knight is largely responsible for many of the werewolf legends that emerged out of England at the beginning of the 11th century. While the tales of a werewolf's maddening rage came primarily from the more aggressive, uncontrolled Fenris, the associations with the full moon and transformation from man to wolf-man can be attributed to the abilities of Wolf Knight.

Full moon iconography adorns Wolf Knight's armor, and his wolf-like traits are all enhanced under the light of the brightest moons. Huntik Wolf Knight never reverts entirely into a humanoid form, but on evenings with a new moon (that is, no moon at all), his claws, strength, fur, and senses are significantly less pronounced and less powerful. Under the glow of the fullest moons, however, there is little chance of anyone stopping Wolf Knight.

Many Titans in Huntik can be classified as “evil,” though originally most were neither good nor evil. It is only after years of being bonded to strong-willed Seekers that a Huntik Titan tends to lean one way or the other. If, long ago, most of the werewolf-like Huntik Titans ended up in the hands of evil Seekers, over time those werewolves would become evil and everyone would assume that all werewolves are evil.

The Wolf Knight represents a werewolf who was never corrupted by an evil Seeker. Though still ferocious, he can be kind and friendly.

Huntik is an Italian animated TV series created by Iginio Straffi of Rainbow S.p.A., as a co-production with Big Bocca Productions (an Irish entertainment production and licensing company owned by Richard McWilliam, CEO and owner of The Upper Deck Company, LLC and Rainbow S.p.A.).

Huntik made its debut at the MIPCOM show in Cannes, and premiered January 3, 2009 in the U.S. on The CW4Kids. Created and directed by legendary Italian animator Iginio Straffi (who also created The Winx Club and Monster Allergies), Huntik was awarded as best cartoon for entertainment and business opportunities at MIPJunior, a leading international exhibition dedicated to children's tv programmes.

Huntik TV series was broadcast in Italy on Rai 2 and in foreign channels including the The CW4Kids (United States), Disney XD -previously Jetix- (UK & Ireland), MTV3 (Finland), Rede Record (Brazil), Jetix / Disney XD (Netherlands), Childern Channel (Israel), RTL II (Germany), ZAZ (Mexico), Network Ten (Australia), TV Tokyo (Japan), South Africa, Singapore, Greece, Austria, Portugal and the Philippines.

Huntik trading card game, produced by Upper Deck Entertainment, was released in 2009 in Starter decks and booster packs. A line of Huntik action figures has also been released by Upper Deck.
