Yuri Lowenthal (Lok Lambert)

Birthday: 3 March 1971
Birthplace: Alliance, Ohio, USA
AKA: Yello Lollicup, Sean Roberts, Sean the Don
Voicing Huntik Character: Lok Lambert

yuri lowenthalYuri Lowenthal is a voice actor that has voiced several anime and video game characters including Lok Lambert in HUNTIK: Secrets & Seekers.

Compared by some to a young Sean Penn, Yuri Lowenthal is racking up solid roles that are rapidly propelling him through the ranks of young leading men. His deep blue eyes and boyish face give him a deceptively playful appearance, hiding a grounded and truthful approach to his work. These traits are in part rooted in his worldly background and experiences abroad.

Yuri Lowenthal is best known for his voice acting in such roles as Superman (Legion of Superheroes), The Prince of Persia (PoP:Sands of Time), Kamal (HALO 2/ ilovebees), Sasuke (Naruto) and Ben Tennyson (Ben 10: Alien Force). He also recently kicked Samuel L. Jackson’s ass in Spike TV’s Afro Samurai.

Yuri Lowenthal is an international theatre performer in addition to his work in voice over. Yuri is also no stranger to the on-camera world: TV: Alias, Gilmore Girls, Close To Home, Reasonable Doubt; Film: In the Blink of an Eye, Death's Door, and Tumbling After - which he wrote and produced with Tara Platt and their production company Monkey Kingdom Productions. Catch him in the animated features Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, and Paprika; as well as playing Superman on Kids' WB's new show Legion of Superheroes, Ben on the updated Ben 10: Alien Force, Bobby Drake “Ice Man” in the new animated Wolverine and the XMen Series and in Spike TV's Afro Samurai opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Ron Perlman. Yuri's also known for his work in video games, most notably as the titular prince in the best-selling Prince of Persia series as well as his work in Halo2 (ilovebees), Saint’s Row and the Final Fantasy series. Anime fans may also know him from series Cartoon Network’s #1 show Naruto, RaveMaster, Kyo Kara Maoh, Ergo Proxy, Noein, Code Geass, and more.yuri lowenthal

Born in Ohio, the son of a Foreign Service officer, Yuri grew up all over the United States as well as Africa and Europe. Graduating from the College of William and Mary with a degree in East Asian studies, extensive theatre training and fluent in Japanese, French, and German, Yuri took a job in Japan with the Japanese government before moving to New York two years later to pursue acting professionally.

His first notable film role came as Pvt. Linus Tabeshaw in the 2002 WWII drama In Small Things Remembered, followed soon after by the romantic comedy Model Chaser. Lowenthal then branched out into voice over work gaining recognition as the voice of the Prince in the highly acclaimed video game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2003) as well as on Cartoon Network's new series Rave Master (2004) as Haru Glory, the Ravemaster.

He is best friends with Doug Erholtz. He is married to fellow voice actress Tara Platt. He graduated from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Lowenthal co-founded Monkey Kingdom Productions with partner Tara Platt in 2004. Monkey Kingdom Productions is an independent film production company, currently producing Lowenthal's Tumbling After. In 2007 Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt provided their voices for Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3.

He also provides the voice of Cecil Harvey in the Nintendo DS remake of Final Fantasy IV, and there is a strong possibility that he will be reprising the role in the upcoming game Dissidia: Final Fantasy.yuri lowenthal
